Sales Description:
Sire: Ungido
Grand Sire: Duque CX
Dam Sire: Dictator
Belico is the ultimate gentle giant and truly one of the kindest horses you could hope to find. He is exceptionally safe, incredibly comfortable, and has the sweetest personality imaginable. He is the kind of horse that gives his rider confidence the moment they get on. With his easy-to-sit gaits and wonderfully uncomplicated nature, Belico is truly like riding a Lazy Boy couch — comfortable, relaxing, and enjoyable from start to finish.
He is currently schooling Third Level and has some piaffe-passage work, along with clean changes. While he is less forward-thinking than some horses, his exceptional temperament and steady nature are exactly what make him so valuable. He is not the horse that needs to be pushed every step of the way; he is the horse that gives his rider peace of mind and makes riding feel easy.
Belico is an incredibly rare find for someone whose number one priority is safety. He is the type of horse you can confidently put a less ambitious rider on, simply enjoy or for someone searching for that truly bomb-proof, grandma-safe partner, this is the horse. He has the temperament and kindness that make him exceptionally special, and he is just as lovely to have around the barn as he is to ride.
Belico has X-rays available and was imported originally as a sales horse.
