As a professional dressage rider, trainer and owner of Runnymede Farm, Katie Tharp-Hebert has seen and learned a lot over her 25+ years of riding and competing. Katie started her career on a high note as an advanced young rider, competing in the North American Young Rider Championships (NAYRC) and representing the USA in Sydney, Australia. Katie has trained under top coaches and athletes including U.S. Pan American Team member Lynda Alicki and Olympian Steffen Peters. Currently, Katie works with Conrad Schumacher.

Katie's goal is to bring out the brilliance and the true talent in horses while keeping them happy, healthy and willing. She is currently working towards a small tour debut with her Friesian mare Freyja of Riverview at the Adequan Global Dressage Festival, Spring of 2021 and to continue to move her up to the Grand Prix to earn a place on the U.S. Dressage Team for the Pan American Games in 2023.
